Contract-holders account

Sometimes, you need to get things done outside of office hours. That’s why when you rent with us, we’ll set you up a contract-holders account, accessible 24/7. On your account, you can:

  • Pay your holding deposit
  • Complete paperwork
  • Complete referencing
  • Add additional occupants
  • Upload ID or Proof of Residency
  • Sign Terms
  • Coming soon - pay completion or move-in funds
  • See what has been completed and signed off immediately
  • View key guides relating to renting your property

10 key steps to renting your next home

  • Step 1: Set your budget

    Look at your finances and work out how much you can afford. Our contract-holder information helps you understand the upfront costs associated with renting. If you struggle to save a large deposit, explore the no-deposit option.

  • Step 2: Search for a property

    Visit one of our three local branches or contact us online to register. We can let you know when a suitable property comes to the market.

  • Step 3: Arrange your viewings

    See the properties you like. If it’s a new area, visit a few times to see if it’s the right place for you.

  • Step 4: Secure your home

    The rental market is competitive, and it moves quickly. If you see something you like, let the agent know.

  • Step 5: References and credit checks

    If you’ve rented before, you’ll need to share the contact details of your referees with your agents. Your letting agent will also perform credit checks.

  • Step 6: Pay your deposit

    Unless you opt for the no-deposit option, you’ll need to pay the deposit in full. We store the deposit with an independent company.

  • Step 7: Sign your occupation contract

    Check and sign the occupation contract.

  • Step 8: Move in

    If we’re managing the property, one of our move managers will arrange for you to collect the keys and move in.

  • Step 9: During your contract

    If we’re the property managers, we’ll keep in regular contact with you and arrange visits to the property. You’ll have the opportunity to ask us questions or raise concerns.

  • Step 10: Renew or vacate

    When you come to the end of your contract, you’ll have the option to renew or decide to leave the property. If you move on and we manage the property, we’ll arrange a check-out with an independent inventory company. They’ll put together a report detailing the condition of the property.
