Occupation Contracts can start verbally. However, you must issue a written statement of the contract to all contract holders. This will replace the occupation contract or licence agreement.
You must carry out electrical safety testing and have working smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.
You can repossess an abandoned home without a court order after serving a four-week notice.
You can add and remove Contract-holders without having to end the current contract.
Other people who live with the Contract-holder, including a spouse, career, or adult children, can take on the contract if they die.
